Project manager

IT&T (http://www.itt-consulting.com), a consulting agency in Switzerland and Luxemburg, that provides key accounts (aerospace, armament, banks, chemicals, energy, logistics, telecoms and transports) advice in the fields of General Management and Information Systems is looking for a candidate for a Project Manager (future technical director) full-time position in Kiev’s (Ukraine) subsidiary.

Our Client is an all-inclusive engineering company that specialises in the migration of legacy software to run on the latest platforms. Client Technologies uses bespoke software to industrialise the services it provides.

With more than 200 billion lines of code used in the world, the software legacies inherited from the past still provide the essential part of the management of large companies.

Being subject to competition and changes that are becoming more and more intense, it is essential that these same companies adapt their Information System at an increasing pace to take account of the changes in their social, economic and regulatory environment. It's a question of survival.

The Client develops its engineering labs with IT&T in Kiev, to fulfil their fast growth objectives they are looking for Project manager.

Project description:
The heart of Client’s product consists of semantic analysis tools and repositories. They help convert technical environment (Mainframes and or UNIX) to evaluate, test and migrate to new aimed technical architecture.

Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Very experienced project manager, 3-7 years of team managing
• Good Knowledge of 3 tier architecture and development process
• Very good English (French would be a plus)

It is a plus if you have the following:

• Good knowledge of language semantics and/or parsers, compilers
• Some experience in Legacy systems
• Some experience in LISP would be a plus.

A successful candidate should be able to demonstrate 5-year experience in Java development with 2 years of team leading experience.
